Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install anything?
No. TillPocket opens in the browser of your phone or computer and can be added to the home screen like an app. It also works offline – documents are sent once you're back online.
Does TillPocket support Czech EET 2.0?
Yes. Sales are signed with your till's certificate and sent straight to the Financial Administration; the POK confirmation code is on the document. EET sequence numbers have their own continuous series with no gaps. Download the certificate in the EET portal and upload it in Settings.
What happens when the year of updates ends?
The till keeps working in its version, for life. Security fixes are always free. New features and changes required by law (EET, VAT, document requirements) are part of paid updates – we tell you about every such change in advance.
Which printer do I need?
Any 58 mm thermal printer with Bluetooth Low Energy (most cheap "dual mode" printers). From Android the till prints directly, from iPhone through the printer's app. Without a printer send the receipt as a PDF by e-mail or message.
Card payments?
Take card payments with your terminal or a phone payment app (e.g. Comgate, SumUp) and confirm them in the till. The receipt then shows the card payment and goes to EET.
Where is my data, and GDPR?
Your data is on your device. Sync between devices is encrypted on the phone – nobody else sees your sales and customers, not even us. Backups download as an encrypted file.
Does the trial convert to a paid licence?
Yes. Buy a licence for the same company ID and the trial becomes a full licence – same licence number, no reinstall, all data stays.
How do I move the licence to a new phone?
Free the licence in Settings on the old device (or ask from the new one) and enter the same licence number on the new device. Move the data with sync or a backup.
